1.1 MILLION PASSENGERS AT OAKLAND AIRPORT IN SEPTEMBER

Airport Moves into Autumn with 4.1% Year-Over-Year Increase

Oakland, CA: (October 31, 2018) – Officials at Oakland International Airport (OAK) today released September passenger traffic reports, which reveal that total passenger activity at the airport increased 4.1% – from 1,083,301 in September 2017 to 1,127,927 in September this year.  

Port of Oakland Director of Aviation, Bryant L. Francis notes, “We are very pleased to see customers continuing to choose Oakland for travel needs into and out of the Bay Area. The popularity of our airport continues to be sustained by Oakland’s outstanding air service and our unmatched convenience and reliability.”
